Two students from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), have commenced a six-month academic exchange at Volda University College in Norway under the Erasmus+ Exchange Programme.
The students, Solace Edotom Asamoah and Hamad Nubania Siddique, both third-year Communication Studies majors, are participating in the fully funded scholarship as part of an ongoing academic partnership between UPSA and Volda University College.
The exchange programme offers the students a unique opportunity to pursue their studies while gaining international exposure and engaging with diverse academic and cultural environments.

It is expected to enhance their academic development, strengthen cross-cultural networks, and build leadership and professional skills relevant to global communication practice.
Acting Director of the UPSA Centre for International Education and Collaboration, Dr Edwin Tetteh Ayernor, says the initiative reflects the growing collaboration between the two institutions.
“This partnership further underscores UPSA’s commitment to providing students with international learning opportunities that broaden perspectives and deepen intercultural competence,” Dr Ayernor said.
The students are expected to return home in June to continue with their academic work at UPSA after completing the exchange programme.
