UPSA Media and Website Unit wins National Communications Award

The Media and Website Coordination Unit (MWCU) of the University has been adjudged the ‘Most Eminent PR/Corporate Communications Team of the Year’ at the 2019 National Communications Awards gala.

The awards, which seek to honour excellent communications companies, teams and individuals with strong media presence across the country, came off last Saturday at the Export Trade House in Accra.

Other metrics for recognition also included updated website information, one’s engagement with the public on social media and the timely relay of information online.

The UPSA Media and Website team beat off stiff competition from renowned organisations including the GIPC, GCB, Newmont, GCNET, Vivo Energy and others to clinch the ultimate.

The University was also the only educational institution and public sector university that was featured in the entire awards scheme.
