NOTICE
TEMPORARY CHANGE IN COURSE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR
POSTGRADUATE, UNDERGRADUATE AND DIPLOMA STUDENTS – SECOND SEMESTER 2023/2024 ACADEMIC YEAR

This is to inform all students that some technical challenges have been experienced due to a new student platform being deployed by the University. As a result, all students yet to do their course registration for the second semester-2023/2024 academic year should follow the temporary procedure below until further notice.

• Step 1: Payment of Fees

Pay the appropriate or required fee into the following bank account.

Bank Name Access Bank Ghana Plc
Account Name University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA)
Account number 1024000008995
Branch Name IPS

Ensure you correctly quote your student ID number and name on the pay-in slip.

  • Step 2: Course Registration

Access the online course registration portal by logging into https://www.upsasip.com/studentportal after 48 hours of payment at the bank to generate two copies of your proof of registration slip.

Students with elective course (s) to register should photocopy their pay-in-slip and indicate the course code and title of the elective(s) they intend to register, scan and email it to academicaffairs@upsamail.edu.gh. Please use “elective with your index number” as a subject when sending the email.

  • Step 3: Resit Registration (optional)

After the course registration, you may now pay the appropriate resit registration fee into the account number indicated above if you have any second-semester paper (s) you wish to resit.

Photocopy your pay-in-slip, indicate the course code and title of the paper(s) you intend to resit scan and email it to academicaffairs@upsamail.edu.gh. Please use “resit with your index number” as a subject when sending the email.

Use your USIS Student’s portal to generate a new proof of registration after 48 hours of sending the request through the email address above. Please skip this step if you do not have any paper to resit.

  • Step 4: Submission and Endorsement of Proof of Registration Slips

Submit the proof of registration slips to your Department Officer for endorsement after which one (1) copy of the slip will be returned to you.
