
Professor Isaac Boadi is a Ghanaian academic and finance expert, currently serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA). With over 22 years of experience spanning academia and industry, he holds a Ph.D. in Finance, along with master’s degrees from Swedish institutions and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. His academic leadership includes prior roles as a lecturer at institutions such as the African University College of Communication and Regent University College, as well as professional experience in financial sectors, including positions at the Access Bank, Investment Banking industry, strategic advisory roles in microfinance and asset management, Authorized Dealing Officer of the Ghana Stock Exchange. Professor Isaac Boadi has served as a budget analyst at Ga Central Municipal Assembly and a General Manager at Vanfred Mining Limited. His expertise covers corporate valuation, investment research, and financial advisory services, complemented by over twenty-four (24) scholarly publications in areas like investment, corporate finance, international trade, financial markets and institutions, and behavioral finance.
Beyond academia, Prof. Boadi is a vocal advocate for financial, economic reforms and innovation in Ghana. He has publicly endorsed initiatives such as the introduction of a national credit scoring system, supported initiatives that helped banking sector from systemic collapse, and championed digitalization as a catalyst for job creation and economic growth. A proponent of practical education, he emphasizes integrating soft skills into curricula to prepare students for real-world challenges.
