Dr Linda Narh donates copies of newly authored book to UPSA

A lecturer at the Faculty of Management Studies at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), Dr Mrs Linda Narh, has donated copies of her first book to the University library.

The book, titled “Reflections: 50 Lessons at 50,” is a chronicle of the life of the author, and it captures her childhood, upbringing, life challenges, and successes in her five decades of life.

The book also sheds light on her 25 years of work in the advertising, media, telecommunications, and financial sectors as a marketing practitioner.

As the title of the book suggests, it highlights 50 lessons that offer advice and guidance to young people, particularly students who come from very challenging backgrounds like Dr Narh’s but who are determined to make it in life by learning from her experiences.

Presenting the books at a brief ceremony on Thursday, May 2, Dr Narh, disclosed that her reason for writing the book was to help educate young people in very deprived communities to accept their condition but not to make it deter them from fighting to attain their aspirations.

Registrar of UPSA, Mrs Lorraine Gyan, who received the books on behalf of the university, thanked Dr Narh for the kind gesture.

She commended her for taking the bold step to share her life experiences and lessons with the youth through the publication of the book.

She described the content of the book as not only inspirational but also full of practical lessons that will shape the lives of students as they navigate through the challenges of life.

Present at the ceremony were Mr Elisha Mensah, University Librarian; Prof Samuel Antwi, Dean of the School of Graduate Studies; Prof Fidelis Quansah, Dean of Faculty of Management Studies; and Dr. Ernest Mensah Abraham, Vice Dean of Faculty of Management Studies.
