It was a joyous occasion of initiation for some 7,110 fresh students of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) as they were formally welcomed into the University community at a colourful Matriculation Ceremony on Friday, April 8, 2022.

The freshmen and women, pursuing various undergraduate, professional and postgraduate programmes for the 2021/2022 academic year, were officially welcomed by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Abednego F. O. Amartey.

He congratulated them on their successful admission into the University, stressing that their decision to settle at UPSA was a step in the right direction and a strong affirmation of the confidence they repose in the institution.

“Your presence here is a clear indication that you believe in the quality of teaching and learning being offered at this University,” the Vice-Chancellor said.
