The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), has paid a courtesy call on Multimedia Group Limited as part of efforts to strengthen institutional collaboration and formally invite the media organisation to the Ghana Business Leaders’ Conclave. The engagement, held on Thursday, 14 May 2026, formed part of activities ahead of the Conclave scheduled for Friday, 15 May 2026, at the Kofi Ohene-Konadu Auditorium, UPSA.
The UPSA delegation was led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor John Kwaku Mensah Mawutor. He was accompanied by the Registrar, Mrs Lorraine Gyan; the President of the UPSA Global Alumni Association, Mr Francis Dadzie; the Acting Director of Administration, Dr Mrs Leticia Akyeampong; the Director of Public Affairs, Ms Aba Lokko; and the Executive Director of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana, Mr Kwabena Agyekum.
The Multimedia Group team included the Chief Operating Officer, Mr Ken Ansah; the Head of Joy Brands, Mr Fiifi Koomson; and the General Manager of Adom Brands, Mr Abdulai Awudu.
Discussions focused on deepening collaboration in leadership development, entrepreneurship, innovation, research dissemination and strategic media engagement.

Welcoming the delegation, Mr Ansah commended UPSA’s remarkable transformation over the years and reaffirmed Multimedia Group’s commitment to supporting educational initiatives with national impact.
“I have personally witnessed the growth and transformation of UPSA over the years. The University has become a strong example of innovation, excellence and institutional development,” he said.
He noted that UPSA’s achievements, innovations and contributions to society deserved greater national visibility, adding that Multimedia Group was willing to support initiatives that empower students, young entrepreneurs and emerging business leaders.
Professor Mawutor expressed appreciation to Multimedia Group for its continued support and its role in shaping national conversations. He said the Ghana Business Leaders’ Conclave forms part of UPSA’s broader commitment to promoting ethical leadership, sustainable businesses and institutional continuity.
“Through this Conclave, UPSA seeks to contribute to national conversations on sustainability, succession planning and responsible leadership,” he said.

He added that the University remains committed to bridging academia and industry by creating opportunities for students to develop innovative ideas into sustainable ventures.
Mrs Gyan underscored the importance of partnerships that support national growth, noting that UPSA’s objective goes beyond academic training to the development of responsible professionals and leaders.

Mr Awudu encouraged the University to consider repackaging key educational and business development ideas into local languages and accessible formats, including videos, podcasts and audio content, to reach wider audiences.
The meeting ended with both institutions reaffirming their commitment to collaboration in education, innovation, entrepreneurship and national development.
