University at Buffalo donates medical supplies to UPSA Clinic

The University at Buffalo, in collaboration with the All-Africa Students Union (AASU), has donated assorted drugs to the UPSA Clinic.

Presenting the items, the Director of the Centre for International Education and Collaboration (CIEC) at UPSA, Ivy Heward-Mills, expressed gratitude to the University at Buffalo and AASU for the thoughtful gesture.

She noted that the collaboration between the University at Buffalo and AASU demonstrates the importance of international partnerships in advancing healthcare and student welfare in Africa.

Medical Director at the UPSA Clinic, Dr. Isaac Newman Arthur, who received the items, thanked the University at Buffalo and UPSA management for the support.

“This donation will go a long way to complement our existing resources and improve our ability to respond to medical needs effectively,” Dr Arthur stated. “We are deeply grateful for this partnership.”

AASU Secretary-General, Mr. Peter Kwasi Kodjie, underscored a shared commitment to improving student health and well-being, emphasizing the importance of fostering a supportive environment that promotes both the physical and mental wellness of students.
