Representatives of the Royal Bobo Kingdom and the Bobo Old Comrades Association (BOCA), a campus-based student activist group, have paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), Prof. Kwaku Mensah Mawutor, at his office on Thursday.
Led by the BOCA President, Abdul Jabar Adam (Chief Napi), the group congratulated Prof. Mawutor on his recent induction into office, pledging their support to him for the overall growth of the university.
The delegation applauded Prof. Mawutor’s exceptional leadership and vision, which they believe will enhance UPSA’s reputation as a leading business school in West Africa and among the fastest-growing universities in Africa.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to fostering strong ties with the university, particularly in student development and cultural promotion.

The delegation discussed strategies to revitalise the association and its activities, particularly on campus after years of dormancy.
Prof. John Mawutor, expressed his gratitude for the visit and commended the Royal Bobo Kingdom and BOCA for their dedication to service and impactful initiatives.
He welcomed the opportunity for future partnerships that would further enrich student life and academic excellence at UPSA.

“As one of the oldest associations on campus, BOBO has played a key role over the years in nurturing students who have grown into prominent figures and leadership positions across the globe,” Prof Mawutor said as he recounted his days as a member of the group.
