The University of Professional Studies, Accra, has unveiled the bust of the outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abednego Feehi Okoe Amartey, at a brief but colourful ceremony held at the forecourt of the Opoku Ampomah Central Administration Building.

The unveiling ceremony, held on Wednesday, November 6, was marked by warmth and admiration as family members, faculty, staff, and dignitaries gathered to honour Prof. Amartey’s contributions to UPSA.
Chairman of the UPSA Governing Council, Dr Kofi Ohene-Konadu who led a team of dignitaries to unveil the bust, lauded the Prof. Amartey for his vision and dedication to advancing higher education.

Notable accomplishments include the fully funded construction of two state-of-the-art student hostel complexes, which collectively accommodate over 3,500 students, and the development of a multipurpose 10-storey Twin Tower, a graduate student executive hostel, a dedicated police station, a four-storey lecture/chapel block, and a senior management village to provide housing for principal officers.
