The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) is set to celebrate the academic achievements of more than 1,300 graduands as the University community, families, friends and well-wishers gather for the first session of the 18th Congregation.
The ceremony, scheduled for Friday, September 25, 2026, will confer undergraduate and various postgraduate degrees on graduands from the School of Graduate Studies and UPSA Law School who have successfully completed their respective programmes of study.
The graduands will be awarded various qualifications, including Master of Philosophy (MPhil), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Science (MSc), Master of Arts (MA) and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degrees.
The colourful ceremony will be graced by Dr Philip Oti-Mensah, Chief Executive Officer of Universal Merchant Bank (UMB), who will serve as the Congregation Speaker.
He is expected to share insights and inspiration with the graduating class as they prepare to take the next step in their professional and academic journeys.
For the graduating students, the occasion will be a moment of pride and celebration as they officially join the growing community of UPSA alumni, carrying with them the knowledge, skills and values acquired during their time at the University.
The first session marks the beginning of five sessions of the 18th Congregation to be held by the University this year, with each session providing an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of different groups of graduands.
