The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), through the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs, has honoured two students for demonstrating confidence, discipline and professional presentation. The recognition, held in June 2026, named Mr Ayumah Gideon Talata and Ms Ganyo Deborah, both Level 100 Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance students, as the University’s Best-Dressed Students for the month.
The monthly initiative celebrates students who project themselves with confidence and decorum while upholding appropriate standards of dress within the University community. It also reinforces the importance of personal presentation as part of the professional values UPSA seeks to nurture in its students.
Present at the brief presentation ceremony were the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Philomena Dadzie; the Vice-Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Anthony Sumnaya Kumasey; and the SRC Financial Controller, Mr Billgate Elikem.
As part of the recognition, Mr Tetteh and Ms Deborah received UPSA-branded souvenirs and a selection of books from the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs. The gesture was in appreciation of their exemplary appearance and to encourage them to continue serving as positive examples within the student community.
Prof. Dadzie congratulated the awardees for distinguishing themselves through their confidence, discipline and neat appearance. She encouraged them to remain consistent in their standards of dressing and conduct, while inspiring their colleagues to appreciate the value of professionalism and self-confidence in academic life and future careers.
The Best-Dressed Student Award forms part of the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs’ broader commitment to enriching the student experience and promoting a culture of professionalism on campus.
It also reflects UPSA’s dedication to developing graduates who combine academic excellence with strong character, discipline and the professional values required to thrive in the world of work.
