UPSA Management visits HRM Drolor Adamtey

The management of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. John Kwaku Mensah Mawutor, has paid a courtesy visit to the university’s first Chancellor, His Royal Majesty Drolor Bosso Adamtey I, as part of stakeholder engagements with former leaders of the university.

Prof. Mawutor, who assumed office in January this year, described the visit as an opportunity to share experiences and update the Chancellor on key developments at UPSA.

He highlighted major milestones under the new administration, including the successful matriculation of 12,000 fresh students this year, the completion of the PCU Building, and the near completion of the Abednego F. O. Amartey twin tower building, which will soon house the School of Graduate Studies.

HRM Drolor Adamtey who is also a member of the Council of State, commended the new Vice-Chancellor for his leadership and urged the management team to uphold the gains made by successive leaders while forging a new path of excellence and innovation.

He assured them of his utmost support and encouraged them to continue building on UPSA’s legacy.

As part of his commitment to UPSA’s continuous growth, the former Chancellor pledged a seed fund of $100,000 to revitalise the UPSA Drolor Centre for Strategic Leadership, reaffirming his dedication to leadership development at the university.

The meeting was attended by key members of the university’s management, including the Registrar, Mrs. Lorraine Gyan; Pro-Vice-Chancellors Prof. Samuel Antwi and Prof. Emmanuel Selase Asamoah; as well as the Director of Finance, Mr. Nicholas Adjei.
