The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) has introduced seven new academic programmes for the 2025/26 academic year, expanding its offerings to cater to emerging global and industry trends.
The Vice-Chancellor of UPSA, Professor John Kwaku Mensah Mawutor, announced this during the university’s 2025 matriculation ceremony, which saw over 12,000 fresh students officially join the institution.
He stressed that the new programmes have been designed to equip students with cutting-edge knowledge and skills.
The programmes include PhD in Management, Master of Laws in International Business and Commercial Law, Master of Laws in Natural Resources and Climate Change Law, and Master of Laws in Competition and Consumer Protection Law.
The rest are MBA in Asset and Wealth Management, MBA in Business Management, and Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Analytics.
The Vice-Chancellor emphasised the university’s commitment to producing well-rounded, globally competitive professionals who are ready to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving world.
“These new programmes align with UPSA’s vision of offering relevant and quality education that meets the needs of the changing job market,” Professor Mawutor said. “We are excited to welcome the 2025 cohort and offer them these new
opportunities for academic and professional growth.”
Admissions for the new programs are currently open, and prospective students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
