UPSA Graduate School matriculates 950 fresh students for 2022/2023 Academic Year 

A total of 950 graduate students were on Wednesday, November 9, matriculated to signify their formal admission into the University of the Professional Studies, Accra at a colourful Matriculation Ceremony.

The fresh students will be pursuing postgraduate studies at the School of Graduate Studies for the 2022/2023 academic year.

They comprised 29 PhD students, 43 MPhil, 596 MBA, 253 MA/MSc and 29 MBA distance learning students.

In welcoming the freshmen into the University, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abednego F. O. Amartey, charged them to observe rules and regulations of the University as enshrined in the students’ handbook.

He also reminded them of the need to take their studies seriously, pointing out that it was the essence of joining UPSA.

Prof Amartey stressed that in pursuing academic excellence it is imperative for students to strike the right balance between their academic work and other social and extra-curricular activities that would lead to the attainment of their goals in life.

He urged the matriculants to be disciplined and conduct themselves professionally while acting as good ambassadors of the University.

The fresh students affirmed the Matriculation Oath, pledging to live by the values of the University community.

One of the graduate students, Redeemer Emmanuel Adjaku, MBA Corporate Governance, signed the symbolic matricula on behalf of the 2022 cohorts while Linda Naomi Aidoo delivered the students’ expectation address.
