UPSA emerges 2nd Runner-Up at 2022 Tertiary Business Challenge

  • Date October 12, 2022

The University of Professional Studies, Accra, put up a gallant display of academic showmanship in its maiden appearance at the grand finale of the 2022 Tertiary Business Sense Challenge (TBSC).

UPSA, which broke its three-year jinx of not making it to the finals of the inter-university competition, emerged 2nd runner-up in the fourth edition.

The UPSA team, which began the opening round on poor footing, quickly bounced back in the second round with a slim lead and maintained a consistent performance throughout the third, fourth, and fifth rounds.

At the end of the contest, KNUST emerged winners with a point tally of 53.2, followed by UCC with 47.7 points and UPSA with 30.2 points.

The Tertiary Business Sense Challenge is an intellectually stimulating and challenging contest for tertiary business institutions organised by the Graphic Communications Group.

It is aimed at developing the minds of business students around business and the economy, allowing them to construct successful business careers in the future.

This year’s edition had 12 participating schools and was held on the theme: “The Role of Business Students in Shaping National Economic Discourse.”
