The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Munkaila Abdulai as the new Head of the Department of Business Administration.
Dr. Abdulai is a distinguished academic, seasoned entrepreneur, and accomplished management consultant with an extensive track record in higher education, leadership, and strategic development. His appointment reflects UPSA’s commitment to strengthening academic leadership with individuals who possess both scholarly depth and practical industry experience.
Over the years, Dr. Abdulai has played a pivotal role within the University, serving as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Graduate Studies and the Department of Business Administration. His contributions as Coordinator for International Education and Projects, as well as Coordinator for the Master’s in Total Quality Management Programme, have significantly enhanced programme delivery, academic innovation, and global engagement.
Beyond academia, Dr. Abdulai’s expertise in business consultancy and strategic leadership has impacted numerous national and international institutions, including USAID-Chemonics, the National Petroleum Authority, Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, and the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission. His work in strategic management, leadership development, and organizational performance positions him uniquely to drive transformation within the Department.
