Top Alumnus, Brigadier General Amissah ’88 commends UPSA Management

UPSA alumnus, Brigadier General Dan Kofi Amissah ’88 has commended the management of UPSA for their visionary and outstanding leadership towards making the university one of the best institutions of higher education in Africa.

Brigadier General Amissah, who is the Defence Financial Controller (DFC) of the Ghana Armed Forces, made these remarks when he called on the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Abednego Feehi Okoe Amartey at his office on Wednesday.

Brigadier General Amissah, after touring the world-class facilities on campus and other ongoing projects, expressed admiration for the level of transformation the institution has undergone over the years.

“Today, I walked into this campus with so much pride knowing that we have world-class facilities and infrastructure that can match any tertiary institutions in Ghana,” he said.

“To say I’m impressed is an understatement and I want to commend past and present management for this feat.”

Brigadier General Amissah was presented with a certificate of appreciation for his selfless and immense contributions to the development of the university in recent years.

“It is a privilege to always come back home. I am proud to talk about UPSA because of her progress made. Today, I stand here as a proud alumnus,” he remarked.
