Three UPSA students selected for NLA University College Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility programme

Three outstanding students of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) have been selected to participate in the prestigious Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Programme 2022.

This follows a collaboration agreement between the UPSA and NLA University College in Norway for students and staff exchange programmes.

Under the exchange programme, the three students, Victor Kafui Mensah, Nana Akua Serwa Yiadom and Nancy Yennuyo Yosah (all second year Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations Management students) will be traveling to the NLA University College in Norway for a minimum duration of five months beginning January 2022.

The period will provide an opportunity for the students to gain vital international experience, develop new skills and get off to a great start in their career.

“The University wishes to congratulate the students and wish them well as they embark on the programme,” says Prof. Abigail Opoku Mensah, Director of the UPSA Centre for International Education and Collaboration (CIEC).

The Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility programme, sponsored by the European Commission, is an option in the European Erasmus programme and allows student and staff exchanges from countries outside the European Union to European universities with an Erasmus Charter.

Each participant selected by their home university for Erasmus+ ICM are entitled to the Erasmus+ scholarship. This scholarship covers travel expenses and individual support to cover costs directly linked to their subsistence during the mobility.

The collaboration with NLA University College is one of many partnerships by UPSA through the CIEC aimed at facilitating the internationalisation of education delivery.
