Three UPSA students arrive in Norway for exchange programme

Three UPSA students have arrived in Norway to participate in the prestigious Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Programme 2022.

The students, Victor Kafui Mensah, Nana Akua Serwa Yiadom and Nancy Yennuyo Yosah (all second-year PR students) have joined students and faculty of the NLA University College, the host institution, to pursue semester courses as part of the exchange programme.

“Whilst at NLA University College, the students will take three academic credit courses,” said Professor Abigail Opoku Mensah, director of the UPSA Centre for International Education and Collaboration (CIEC).

The programme will also provide an opportunity for the students to gain vital international experience, develop new skills and get off to a great start in their careers.

Prior to their departure, the students together with their parents met with the Management of UPSA to discuss and agree on expectations and commitments from all the stakeholders in the programme.

They are scheduled to return to Ghana in June 2022 to continue with their studies at UPSA.

“On behalf of the University, the Centre for International Education and Collaboration wishes the students the best in their stay in Norway,” Prof Opoku Mensah added.

The partnership with NLA University College is one of many academic collaborations by the UPSA through the CIEC which is geared towards facilitating the internationalisation of education delivery.
