NOTICE
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR END-OF SECOND SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS-
2024/2025 ACADEMIC YEAR FOR FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS
All Undergraduate Level 100 and First Year Diploma Students should note the following important information for the End-of-Second Semester Examinations-2024/2025 Academic Year.
1. The end-of-second-semester examinations will be held from Friday, 15th August to Sunday, 31st August, 2025.
2. Consequently, all students must visit the University website for the final examination timetable published on Monday, 11th August, 2025.
3. All examinations will be held in person (face-to-face). Please note that weekend and evening session students will sit their examinations together, while regular session students will have separate sittings.
4. Furthermore, Undergraduate Regular Session Students who are sitting six core papers will have these papers divided into two batches. Batch 1 will consist of Students with Odd ID Numbers, while Batch 2 will include Students with Even ID Numbers. Both batches will take the same papers, but they will do so at separate times. No criss-crossing of students between batches will be allowed. Please refer to the examination timetable for further details.
5. All students are required to be seated 30 minutes before the start of each paper. No lateness to the examination hall will be tolerated.
6. The University policy of “No Student ID Card, No Examination” will be strictly enforced. Accordingly, any student without a student ID card should immediately visit the Data Centre (AB.9) to obtain one.
7. The second-semester course registration with penalty deadline has been extended to Thursday, 14th August, 2025. No course registration will be allowed after this deadline. Students who fail to register their courses after the deadline will not be allowed to write their papers.
8. All students are entreated to comply with all rules and regulations governing the University examinations, which have been circulated on the University website as well as on all students’ social media group platforms.
