Registration Procedure for Fresh Undergraduate Students – 2021/2022 Academic Year | UPSA

NOTICE

PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION OF UNDERGRADUATE (LEVEL 100) AND DIPLOMA FRESH STUDENTS

This comes to inform all admitted applicants to the various Undergraduate and Diploma programmes of the University of Professional Studies, Accra that registration of fresh students begins on Monday, 6th December, 2021 at 9.00 am and the procedure for the exercise is as follows.

The complete registration procedure involves seven (7) steps:

● Before coming to campus:

Step 1: Pay your fees and do a disbursement on interpay payment platform.

Step 2: Do your unverified on-line course registration.
There are two on-campus registration venues: Room 40, Seidu Mustapha Wing-Opoku Ampomah Building and GH.3, Idris Igala Building (to be opened later).

Step 3: Proceed to the registration venue with all the necessary documents for registration as specified in the Guidelines for Fresh Students. You will normally receive an SMS notifying you on the date and time to report.

● At the registration point:

Step 4: Submit your registration documents (i.e. ‘Registration Pack’) to the officer at the registration point. If your ‘Registration Pack’ is up-to-date, the officer will proceed to have your online course registration verified.

Wait to collect your verified proof of registration.

Step 5: Continue to the X-ray Unit to take your chest X-ray in preparation for your medical examination.

Step 6: Get ready to visit the UPSA Clinic on the scheduled date and time to undergo your medical screening and obtain a medical report duly endorsed by the Medical Officer.

Step 7: Collection of student’s ID card- You will be notified to pick up your student’s ID card from your Department after the completion of your medical examination.

Fresh students who fail to complete their registration will not be recognised as bonafide students of the University.

All fresh students are also reminded to adhere strictly to all Covid-19 prevention protocols (i.e. social distancing, wearing of face mask and handwashing) while at the registration centre.
