Sharon Donnir is currently a lecturer with the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) at the Department of Accounting. She is also an adjunct lecturer at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public administration (GIMPA), Takoradi campus and a partner as well as a lecturer at Excel Professional Institute.

For a decade, Sharon has gained progressive experience in academia and other sectors of the economy including consulting, mining and banking. She has served as speaker and participant in a number of intellectual discourses such as UCC School of Business E-seminar series, ACCE CPD on ‘the impact of covid-19 on Global Financial Markets and Banking system’ and ‘Post covid-19 Global Economic Recovery; Strategies and policies’, GIMPA roundtable discussion on Ghanaian financial and banking sector crisis. Sharon has embarked on a number of research mainly in the areas of corporate governance and auditing.

Sharon Donnir holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and Master of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Coast. She successfully served the University of Cape Coast School of Business as a national service personnel in the year 2010/2011. Sharon is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG).
