Samuel is an academic and Information Technology specialist. He has taught many courses in Computer Science and Information Systems at the tertiary level in both private and public institutions such as: Accra Polytechnic, Methodist University College Ghana, Accra Institute of Technology, LUCAS University College and University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA). Some of the courses he has taught include: Object-oriented Java Programming, Object-oriented C++ Programming, Software Testing, Database Management Systems, Systems Programming using Linux, Management Information Systems, Systems Analysis, Introduction to Information Technology, Project Management and Research Methods. He has also taught Core Mathematics and Elective Mathematics at the secondary level, in Accra Academy.

Samuel has also served as an Analyst Programmer with the defunct SSB Bank Limited, now Societe Generale Ghana. He was one of the leading technological experts who converted the manual system of the bank to the computerized system (MICROBANKER and later to FLEXCUBE). He has also worked with INFOCONSULT as a training consultant.
