Robert Amponsah is currently an Assistant Lecturer in the Marketing department of University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA). He is a PhD Student at Nobel International Business School and holds a Master of Philosophy Degree in Leadership from UPSA, in addition to a Master’s of Science Degree with Global Marketing from the Anglia Ruskin University in the United Kingdom, a Post- Graduate Diploma in Marketing (Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK) and Diploma in Statistics from the University of Ghana, Legon.

He has also worked as a Senior Consultant for International Business Group Ghana and Softtribe/BSL for their award winning project "Heijulor" His expertise spans from Digital Marketing, Strategic Planning, Business Planning Models, Business Intelligence and Consumer Research. Robert combines specialist knowledge in both digital marketing and market research to deliver key market insights for tactical and strategic business planning and due diligence within the private sector. He has been a led in executing consumer research and marketing consultancy projects for SNV Ghana, BoP Inc, Promasidor Ghana, Millicom Ghana-Tigo, UNICEF, Newmont Ghana Gold Limited, L’Ooreal West Africa, Young Educators Foundation, Distell Breweries- South Africa, Refriango-Angola, Green Spot (Vitamilk brand)-Thailand and Ghandour Cosmetics.

In the past Robert has worked with companies such as Research International and TNS Research and Marketing Services Ltd (TNS-RMS) as Research Executive, with PZ Cussons as in-charge of Marketing Research and Media, Dannex Pharmaceuticals as Operations Manager, Managing Partner with Equatorial Consulting Limited and the Client Service unit at the Ministry of Finance-Controller and Accountant Generals Department.
