Redeemer Krah is an emerging scholar in Accounting, Governance and Public service with 17 years of teaching and research experience. He joined the University of Professional Studies, Accra in June 2010 as a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting and currently a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and the Acting Head of the department. Before joining UPSA, Redeemer taught Accounting at Ho Polytechnic (Now Ho Technical University) from 2002 to 2010.

He obtained MPhil in Accounting and BSc. Administration (Accounting Option) from University of Ghana in 2008 and 2002 respectively. He is currently pursuing PhD in the areas of accounting, governance and public service. He is a Professional Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana since 2009. Currently, he is an elected member of the 2020-2022 Governing Council of the Institute and the Chairman of the Technical and Research Committee. Redeemer Krah is also contributing to effective public financial management as the Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Student Loan Trust Fund from 2018 to 2022. As educationist, he serves as Examiner, Moderator and Assessor for academic and Professional institutions in the country.

Research interest areas include public financial governance and accounting, public sector management and governance with special focus on financial transparency. He has made moderate contributions to the academic literature through publication of articles, books and book chapters. He has published in Meditari Accountancy and State and Local Governance Review among other Journals. He aspires to publish in higher impact Accounting and Public Sector Management journals and to translate his accounting and governance knowledge to solving real life problem of society.
