Rebecca is an academic and a professional in Communication Studies. As an academic, her teaching areas include public relations planning and strategy development, public relations in NGOs and public relations in higher education. Her research interest is in development communication and the practice of public relations in various sectors.

As a development communicator with about ten years of experience, Rebecca has provided consultancy services in media and development, participated in research on agricultural development communication and also provided professional public relations services in the not-for-profit or NGO environment.
