Dr. Michael Mensah is a Lecturer at the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Studies, UPSA. He holds a PhD in Ecology and Natural Resources Management from the University of Bonn, Germany and master’s in business administration (MBA) with specialization in Finance from University of Ghana and Wisconsin University College, Ghana.
He also holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Landscape Studies from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Prior to joining UPSA, Dr. Michael Mensah taught and supervised students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the Department of Architecture of KNUST for over nine years. He held several positions such as Assistant Examination Officer, Assistant Coordinator for Commonwealth Association of Architects among others. His areas of interest are gender equality, human and environment interactions, gender and natural resources management, climate change adaptation, agriculture and food security, environmental planning and corporate finance.

Dr. Mensah has authored several articles in peered reviewed journals. He teaches courses such as Introduction to Urban Planning and Administration, Introduction to Real Estate, Principles of valuation, Property Management, and Entrepreneurship Development, among others.
