Mr. Michael Kubi is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Studies, UPSA. He holds an MPhil degree in Leadership and is currently a doctoral candidate with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) at The Open University of Tanzania and a Consulting Management Member with the Laweh Open University College.

He started off as a Senior Administrative Assistant at the School of Research and Graduate Studies, UPSA, from September 2010 to December, 2014. His dedication and aptness towards work moved him to the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, where he worked from January, 2013 to December, 2015 as Personal Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor.

Mr. Kubi also served as the Coordinator in charge of Operations at Centre for International Education and Collaboration (CIEC), at UPSA from January, 2016 to January, 2017. His empathy towards humanity led him to becoming one of the long-standing Board Members of GAB Foundation, an NGO which raises funds to assist persons with disabilities and physical challenges. He also doubles as a member of the executive committee of the Consumer Advocacy Centre Ghana (CACG) which is a member of the Consumer International. Michael is also a member of the National Technical Committee on General and Household Chemicals with The Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) and has been involved in drafting and reviewing standards for the state since 2014.

His work acumen also extends to the media when he served as the General Manager for a private radio station. Michael Kubi is also a property management consultant who has a manifold of properties under his management in the plush areas of the capital - Accra. At UPSA, He teaches courses such as Principles of Leadership, Corporate Governance, and Entrepreneurship Development, among others.
