Hector Arnold Sam-Tagoe is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Studies, UPSA, and holds a Masters Degree in Human Resource Development from the University of Cape Coast and currently on a Doctor of Philosophy Programme in Governance and Leadership at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). As a professionally trained teacher, Hector started his career at the very basic level of Ghana’s education. He has served as an Assistant Lecturer with the University of Professional Studies, Accra, since November 2016.

Prior to joining UPSA, Mr. Sam-Tagoe worked with the Data Link Institute, Tema. He served as an Adjunct for the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, Methodist University College and Entrepreneurship Training Institute and has also had the opportunity to be a consultant and facilitator for the Graduate School of Governance and Leadership. Administratively, and to gain some industry experience while on his Masters Degree, Mr. Hector worked with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research as a Human Resource Development Officer.

Currently with UPSA, Mr. Hector teaches Human Resource Management, Business Management, Corporate Governance, International Human Resource Management and Business Ethics. Other courses he has taught during his lecturership experience include Business Research Methodology, Management and Organizational Behaviour, Global and Contemporary Issues and Principles of Management. Mr. Hector Sam-Tagoe has some publications to his credit.
