Godfred wears two hats: a key industry player and an academic. As an industry player, he has had a one-year working experience in a mining company, specifically the AngloGold Ashanti Limited, where he worked as an electrical/maintenance engineer in the mining environment. Later in his career he has to his credit over ten years’ experience in the Telecommunication Industry, while working with Vodafone Ghana Limited and Huawei Technologies Company Limited. At both places, he served as a Switching Expert (Core Network Engineer) and People Manager respectively. In addition, he has worked with multinational companies in the telecommunication industry such as British Telecom, AT & T, MCI Communications Corporation, Sprint Corporation, Verizon Communications, Deutsche Telekom, KPN, Orange, and Telenor ASA, where he served variously as a Telecom engineer/Manager and Interconnect (Technical, Sales and Accounting) Manager.

As an academic, Godfred has twelve years of teaching experience as a Lecturer (and in some instances served as Deputy HOD, Thesis Coordinator, Deputy IT Director, HOD and Dean) in some tertiary institutions listed below:

Godfred has to his credit twenty articles published in reputable peer-reviewed journals, three books, and three conference papers. He currently serves as an editorial board member of the International Journal of Software Engineering and Applications (IJSEA). IJSEA is listed in ERA 2015 Australian Research Council (ARC) as one of the top ranking Journals. He has also served as a Programme Committee Member (PCM) of the related conferences of AIRCC worldwide: 9th International Conference on Software Engineering and Applications (JSE 2020).

Godfred has been nominated to serve as a Programme Committee Member (PCM) of the 2nd International Conference on Natural Language Processing & Computational Linguistics (NLPCL 2021) to be held in May 29-30, 2021 in Vancouver, Canada, and to also serve in the same category AIRCC conferences worldwide in the year of 2021. In addition, Godfred will serve in the same role as PCM and capacity during the 6th International Conference on Data Mining & Knowledge Management (DaKM 2021) to be held in May 29-30, 2021 in Vancouver, Canada.
