Dr. Emmanuel Debrah has over 12 years banking experience with an extensive knowledge and skills in various aspects of banking including Credit Appraisal/Analysis, Risk Management, Loan Recovery and Compliance, Financial Analysis/Interpretation, Financial Reporting, Sales and Customer Relationship Building, Banking Operations and General Management. He has also developed capacity in Project Finance, Organizational Restructuring and Commodities Finance.

He holds a PhD in Business Administration from CASS European Institute of Management Studies (France)/Ghana Communication Technology University; an MSc. in International Accounting from Göteborg University, Sweden; an MSc. in Economics from the University of Skövde, Sweden and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from the University of Cape Coast. Besides, he is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (Ghana) and a holder of Ghana Stock Exchange Securities Certificate.

Dr. Debrah has been with the Department of Accounting since January, 2020. He teaches undergraduate courses and supervises undergraduate long essays. His research interests are in Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Auditing and Accounting Information Quality, Financial Economics, Behavioral Finance, Banking and Economic Growth and Development.
