David has witnessed a lot of transformation in the conventional way of teaching, doing business and executing tasks with the development of technology. With such advancements in technology, he strongly advocates that teaching, business tools and strategies need to keep pace with this massive progress. He analyses the convergence of teaching, business and technology with a focus on information systems which help to identify opportunities for a better work environment and to improve the lives of people.

His teaching philosophy is that: teaching is a process of continuous learning whereby appropriate methods must be used to bring about desired changes in learners (students). He believes that whenever there is a dissonance between teaching methods and the needs of a learner, the learner responds appropriately to the methods and learning experience in a unique way. In view of that, David structures his teaching strategy to create facilitating conditions and learning experiences which challenge students’ thinking and guide their exploration of concepts through presentations, group discussions, mini-project works and research.
