Charity is a Lecturer in Language and Communication Studies at the Department of Communication Studies of the University of Professional Studies, Accra. She has been lecturing since August 2008. Her area of specialisation is in English Language, Scholarly Writing and Communication Skills. Her research work is demonstrated in community service where she specialises in inculcating communication skills among farmers in rural areas. She achieves this feat through drama. She is currently involved in improving the communication competences among the elderly women in the Otinibi and Maledjor communities.

Charity is an active contributor towards the debate of finding a lasting solution to the ‘Kayayei’ problems in Ghana through a media discussion on Metro Television on the underlisted topics:

“Accommodation for the ‘Kayayei’”

“Customised Education for ‘Kayayei’ and their Children”

“Stakeholder Involvement in Finding a Lasting Solution to the ‘Kayayei’ Problems”.

She has authored some books in Drama and Language.
