Dr Ben Ocra, has over 20 years of teaching experience in Information Technology, MIS, Research Methodology, Strategic Management, Business Law, Marketing, E-Commerce etc. As a lecturer with international experience, his aim has been to create the intellectual environment in which students can openly engage with each other in a very rewarding manner.

He aspires to inspire students to share ideas and have reasoned, respectful discussions outside of the classroom, because that is not different from what they will experience when they enter the workforce and as future policy makers. He seeks to create an intellectual environment in which students deliberate and debate with each other respectfully in discussions that are informed by course material and by current national affairs.

Dr Ocra is also competent in the areas of strategic document development and research in areas of Market and Economic development research through various engagements with private sector, and institutions such as the United Nations system agencies, the World Bank and other development entities. He worked for the United Nations in New York, managed a development research office at the Southern New Hampshire University-USA.
