
Dr. Bede Akorige Atarah
Dr. Bede Akorige Atarah is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Studies, UPSA. He holds a PhD and an MPhil in Management from the Ca’Foscary University, Venice, Italy.
Dr. Atarah also has an MA with specialization in Second Language Acquisition from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, USA. He also has an MBA with specialization in Marketing from KNUST, Kumasi, Ghana. Dr. Atarah has taught in Ghana and in the USA, both at the basic and tertiary levels.
In addition to teaching, Dr. Atarah has conducted research in diverse fields including Marketing Communications, Female Entrepreneurship, and Entrepreneurship in Resource-constrained Environments, and published in top refereed journals including Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development, International Business Review, International Small Business Journal, and many others. Dr. Atarah teaches a number of undergraduate and post-graduate courses in UPSA, including Entrepreneurship Development, Principles of Leadership, Introduction to Management, Management of SMEs, Management of Non-Governmental Organizations, Procurement Management, and Global Sourcing.
