Dr. Andrews Ayiku has over 15 years’ experience in business model design and innovation, business development, microfinancing, SMEs capacity building, program design, research, and project management. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration from the SMC University in Switzerland, an MBA with specialization in Marketing, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and a bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance. Andrews is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK and holds a Chartered Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing-UK. He is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana and a certified business coach from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore Milan and the E4Impact Foundation.

He was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarship Program for Advanced Scholars at the University of New Brunswick, Canada to research Entrepreneurship development and Business Strategy. Andrews is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Makeni (Sierra Leone) for their MBA in Global Business and Sustainability since 2015.

Before joining UPSA, Andrews worked at the United Bank for Africa, Innovative Microfinance Limited, Digicast Logistics, Midland Savings and Loans, and the Ministry of Finance and Economic planning. Andrews is the West Africa Manager for E4Impact Foundation (Entrepreneurship for Impact) which is a spin-off of the Business School of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore Milan and has been the lead entrepreneurship trainer for the region. He has research/teaching and professional experience in Ghana, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Italy, Pakistan, Senegal, and Canada. Andrews is a member of the research team of Altis Graduate School Business & Society of the Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore Italy. He has been consulting for German Development Cooperation, Accelerate Prosperity, Pakistan (A Global Initiative of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), Orange Corners Accelerator, Safisana Ghana Limited, Mobile Business Clinic, Vodafone Ghana SME clinic, Africa Internship Academy etc. Andrews is a Non-Executive Director of Jayset Consulting, Board Member for Lead Afrique International etc.
