Dr. Ampem Darko Aniapam is a Lecturer in Environmental Management at the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Studies, UPSA.

He is also the current Dean of Weekend School. He holds Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Environmental Sciences from the University of Ghana.

Dr. Aniapam obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences with Geography as a major and Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast (UCC – Cape Coast). His main areas of expertise include environmental and natural resource management, rehabilitation/reclamation of wasted mined lands, climate change adaptation and biodiversity conservation.

He is currently researching into sustainable and eco-tourism management as well as industrial/organizational health and safety in business organizations. Dr. Aniapam has also attended, presented or co-presented papers at international conferences, workshops and seminars. He teaches courses such as Introduction to Environmental Management and Environmental Management, among others.
