Professor Albert Puni is an Associate Professor in Management at the Faculty of Management Studies in the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).

Professor Puni’s main area of specialisation include Corporate Governance, Leadership, Business Ethics and Entrepreneurship. He is currently the founding Dean of Distance Learning School (DLS), UPSA.

Before occupying his current position, Professor Puni held various executive level positions in UPSA such as the Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies and the Dean of the Graduate School in the University.

Professor Puni has published extensively in both local and international journals, ranked by ABS and ABDC, and indexed in SCOPUS and SCIMAGO databases. Professor Puni has also attended and presented papers in several local and international conferences in Ghana, United Kingdom, Germany, South Korea, Dubai, South Africa etc. He was a visiting Lecturer at the Crawford University in Nigeria in 2015 and Bem Management University in Senegal in 2013 where he taught Human Resource Management and International Business respectively. Professor Puni has over fourteen (14) years teaching experience having taught at both under graduate and post graduate levels in Ghana, London, Nigeria, and Senegal.

Professor Puni has also supervised several undergraduate and post graduate (DBA, MPhil and MBA) dissertations. Prior to joining the University, Professor Puni worked and occupied various executive level positions in both the public and private sectors in Ghana and the United Kingdom. Notable among them are the Connect Community and Hospital Services in UK as the Compliance officer and Assene Household Enamelware Limited as the Administrative and Finance Manager. Professor Puni is a Chartered Secretary and writes regularly on Governance, leadership, and entrepreneurial issues in the Ghanaian Business Graphic.
