Dr. Albert Opoku Frimpong is experienced in rigorous policy-relevant empirical research, with specialty in Health Economics and Development Economics. His research interests are economics of social protection, health financing, health system efficiency, cost analysis, and public policy. He has published peer-reviewed papers (see https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4803-9871) in widely circulated journals. Albert has PhD (Economics), MPhil (Economics), and BA (Economics) degrees from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana.

He has presented research papers at seminars and international conferences and taught economics and research methods at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He serves as a reviewer for some international journals and discussant at policy dialogue meetings. Albert enjoys watching athletics and listening to good music.
