Akwasi Sarfo Kantanka

Mr. Akwasi Sarfo Kantanka is a lecturer at the department of Marketing, UPSA. He has taught courses in integrated marketing communications, retail marketing, marketing management, Entrepreneurship among others. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Publishing Studies from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Master of Business Administration (Marketing) and Master of Philosophy (Marketing) both from the University of Ghana Business School. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Marketing, at UPSA. He has also attended and presented papers in a lot of international academic conferences.
Mr Akwasi Sarfo Kantanka is very passionate about building brands and has gained significant experience in building brands in Ghana, working with and contributing to building brands like ECOBANK, MoneyGram, State Insurance Company, SIC Life Zurion among others.
Akwasi has shared knowledge in leadership, entrepreneurship and management, by profiling over hundred business and thought leaders around the world on CHANGE MANAGERS, WOMEN TO WATCH and BRANDS TV, programmes he conceived, produced and hosted on prime time TV in Ghana. He has also been a regular guest on the KNUST Entrepreneurship Clinic for final year students.
Prior to joining UPSA, Mr. Akwasi Sarfo Kantanka worked with HIT paper trading GMBH Austria, as the country manager. He also worked as the operations manager for IAS/FEDEX Ghana, and founded Infinite Link Ventures, a marketing and business development consultancy.
