The Government of Ghana has conferred on the Vice- Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies, Accra, Professor Joshua Alabi, The State Honour of Officer of the Order of the Volta (OV).
President John Dramani Mahama honored the Vice-Chancellor and 32 others at the National Honours and Awards ceremony in Accra.
The National Awards is the country’s highest honour that recognizes individuals for their distinguished service and contribution to the country’s development. The awardees, spanning from diverse sectors; the Judiciary, academia, public service, medicine, politics, governance and philanthropy were all honored at the ceremony.
In a citation signed by the President, Prof. Joshua Alabi, was recognized for his invaluable Public Service especially in the development of education in Ghana.
