Minister For Education Opens Law And Governance Conference

 A two-day conference to discuss Law and Governance at the University of Professional Studies in Accra (UPSA) has opened. The Minister for Education, Matthew Opoku Prempeh is representing the President. Also present are astute scholars and lawyers in the legal and governance fraternity.

The conference is in commemoration of Ghana’s 60th independence anniversary is being organised by the Faculty of Law of UPSA.

It is providing a platform to Ghanaian academics, scholars, researchers, human rights activists, practitioners, policy makers, and opinion leaders to discuss issues related to governance, politics, and law within the context of the Fourth Republic.  A book will be published at the end of the event.

The conference ends on Friday 10th of March.
