This is to inform all the 2026/2027 academic year undergraduate, diploma, and postgraduate fresh students that the Matriculation Ceremonies, which formally admit them to the University, will be held in the Kofi Ohene Konadu Auditorium on Tuesday, 3rd November, 2026, as follows:
| Session | Faculty | Time |
| First Session | Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Studies and UPSA Law School | 9.00 am |
| Second Session | Faculty of Management Studies | 1.00 pm |
| Third Session | Faculty of Accounting & Finance and School of Graduate Studies (including Master’s Degree and PhD students) | 4.00 pm |
A compulsory Matriculation Thanksgiving Service has also been scheduled for Sunday, 8th November, 2026 at 6.30 a.m. at the same venue.
All students enrolling at UPSA for the first time must participate in the matriculation ceremony and sign the Matriculation Oath. Any fresh student who does not complete the matriculation process will not be recognised as a student of the University.
Fresh students are required to affirm the Matriculation Oath online. To do this, they should follow the link provided on their USIS student portal. After completing the online affirmation, students must print the proof-of-affirmation slip, sign it, and submit it to their respective Deans of Faculty/School immediately after each ceremony. Additionally, fresh students will take the Matriculation Oath during the ceremony.
The prescribed attire for the ceremony is formal dress, i.e., a suit/jacket, preferably with a UPSA necktie or, for ladies, a UPSA scarf.
Note that no well-wishers, including parents, are invited to this ceremony.
Signed
