  • Date April 19, 2018

The first of a healthy walk up the Aburi mountains by management, staff and students of the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA) has been held.

The chance for the University community to walk together up the mountains is the initiative of the Vice-Chancellor Professor Abednego Feehi Okoe Amartey. The event is to sensitize the university community on the need to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

The “VCs Health Walk to Peduase” ended up with aerobics exercise at the top of the mountain. Climbing up the hill was an uphill task for some, who had no choice but to stop and hop on a bus to join colleagues at the top of the mountain.

The VC asked the students to aim high. He took the opportunity to urge final year students to work had to come back to the University to pursue Masters programmes and PhDs the school has rolled out.

The University community had a good time.
