Lynch Medical Services Limited, a leading provider of medical supplies and equipment in Ghana, has donated a new Bio-Chemistry Analyzer to the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) Clinic.
The BSC430 Bio-Chemistry Analyzer, is a sophisticated, computer-managed laboratory equipment used in various clinical examinations, including liver and renal function tests, as well as blood glucose level assessments.
Known for its portability, ease of use, and the provision of accurate and rapid results, the Bio-Chemistry Analyzer is expected to significantly enhance the diagnostic capabilities of the UPSA Clinic.
CEO of Lynch Medical Services Limited, Mr. Morris Nyamekye, who presented the equipment on behalf of his organisation said the gesture was in fulfilment of his organisation’s corporate social responsibility.
Receiving the equipment, Prof. Emmanuel Selase Asamoah, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Studies, expressed profound gratitude on behalf of the university.
He commended Lynch Medical Services for their generous support and called for more partnerships of this nature to further strengthen healthcare services at UPSA.
Director of Medical Service at the UPSA Clinic, Dr. Isaac Newton Arthur, highlighted the importance of the new equipment, stressing that “the addition of the Bio-Chemistry Analyzer will significantly improve our ability to conduct routine examinations with greater accuracy and efficiency, benefiting not only staff and students but also members of the general public who use our facility”.
Present at the presentation ceremony were Mr Daniel Diyuoh, Director of Procurement; Mrs. Beatrice Adjapong, Senior Assistant Registrar, as well as staff from the UPSA Clinic and officials of Lynch Medical Services.
