GRASAG-UPSA donates essential supplies to School of Graduate Studies

The UPSA Chapter of the Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana (GRASAG-UPSA) has donated a variety of essential items to the School of Graduate Studies.

The donation included 120 packs of toilet rolls, four full toilet sink sets and 15 liquid soap dispensers.

They were received by the Dean of the graduate school, Prof Samuel Antwi.

The items are estimated to cost about GHS70,000.

Presenting the items at a ceremony on Thursday, President of GRASAG-UPSA, Michael Amadi Aikins, explained that the donation was aimed at supporting fellow students and promoting a healthy and hygienic environment.

“We understand the challenges our colleagues face as graduate students,” Mr Aikins said.

“So we are hopeful that through this generous donation, we will make a positive impact on the lives of the student community.”

Mr Aikins believes that the gesture will also inspire other individuals and organisations to get involved and contribute positively to the university and their respective communities.

Professor Antwi expressed his gratitude on behalf of the School of Graduate Studies.

He emphasised the significance of such contributions, underscoring the positive impact they would have on the students’ daily lives.

“Even though these items might seem small, they will go a long way to complement the efforts of the University management in promoting and maintaining a healthy and clean environment for students,” Professor Antwi stated.

The Graduate Students Association of Ghana is recognised for its commitment to advocacy, community service, and leadership development among graduate students nationwide.
