First Semester Examination guidelines for first-year students -2024/25 Academic Year

NOTICE

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR END OF FIRST-SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS – 2024/2025 ACADEMIC YEAR FOR FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS

All Undergraduate Level 100 and Diploma First Year Students are to take note of the following important information for the End of First Semester Examinations-2024/2025 Academic Year:

1. The end-of-first-semester examinations will be held from Monday, 28th April to Sunday, 11th May, 2025.

2. Consequently, all students must visit the University website for the provisional examination timetable published Today, Friday, 4th April, 2025.

3. All examinations will be held in person (face-to-face). Please note that weekend and evening session students will sit their examinations together, while regular session students will have separate sittings.

4. Furthermore, the Undergraduate Regular Session Students sitting five core papers have been divided into two batches. Batch 1 will consist of students with Odd ID Numbers, while Batch 2 will include students with Even ID Numbers. Both batches will take the same papers, but they will do so at separate times. No crisscrossing will be allowed. Refer to the examination timetable for the details.

5. All students are required to be seated 30 minutes before the start of each paper. No lateness to the examination hall will be tolerated.

6. The mandatory requirement for students to present their Student ID cards during all University examinations remains in effect. However, all first-year students who do not have it may use their duly endorsed and stamped proof of registration. Students who have misplaced their proof of registration may retrieve a copy from their UPSA email for endorsement and stamping in their respective departments.

7. All students are entreated to comply with all rules and regulations governing the University examinations, which have been circulated on the University website as well as on all students’ social media group platforms.
