Female graduating students were at the centre of attention at the 15th Congregation ceremony of the University of Professional Studies Accra, as they won most of the awards for graduating students.
Female graduates took home 25 of the 39 academic prizes earmarked for the 2022/2023 academic year.
The graduation ceremonies which was held from October 17th to 20th witnessed the graduation of some 4,986 students and highlighted the exceptional achievements of outstanding students from the various faculties and schools.
Dilys Nana Fosu-Hemaa Ohenebeng, an MPhil Finance graduate, was adjudged the Overall Best Graduating Graduate Student in the two-year programme while Margaret Kontoh-Banahene, a brands and communications graduate, took home the award in the one-year programme.
For the undergraduate level, Gideon Bempoh, a BSc in accounting and finance student claimed the Overall best graduating undergraduate award, while Rebecca Oppong distinguished herself as the Overall Best Graduating Diploma Student.
