The University will hold the 5th Session of the 17th Congregation on Thursday, 4th December 2025, at 10:00 a.m. At this ceremony, three distinguished Ghanaians will be conferred with Honorary Doctorate degrees for excellence and service to the nation.
Prof. Joshua Alabi, First Vice-Chancellor of UPSA and Board Chair of GCB Bank PLC, will be honoured for his visionary leadership, Mr. J. K. Horgle, Executive Chair of J.K. Horgle Transport and Co. Ltd, will be celebrated for his contributions to Ghana’s transport sector and H.E. Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, Former First Lady and Founder, 31st December Women’s Movement, will be recognised for her advocacy and national service.
The ceremony will take place at the Kofi Ohene Konadu Auditorium, marking a memorable moment in the University’s history.
